Mr. Farag brings more than 30 years of distinguished experience in the accounting and auditing profession. His career includes senior leadership roles at major international firms such as KPMG and Grant Thornton, where he led audit and advisory services for publicly traded companies, multinational corporations, and complex regulatory engagements.
His areas of expertise include:
- Integrated audits and SEC reporting
- Financial compliance and internal controls
- Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) implementation
- Quality assurance and regulatory inspections
Mr. Farag also served as a senior inspections leader with the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB) in the United States, reinforcing his credentials as a global authority on audit quality and compliance.
Role and Vision as Chairman
In his capacity as Chairman of Mavins Saudi Arabia, Mr. Farag will:
- Guide the firm’s strategic direction and governance framework
- Oversee the implementation of global quality, independence, and compliance standards across Saudi operations
- Support the expansion of the network’s presence in the Kingdom through partnerships, regulatory alignment, and market engagement
